FINDING YOUR WAY: A Roadmap To Social Systems And Resources

The NKFM has developed six in-depth guides to navigating resources and systems within Oakland, Kent, Genesee, Macomb, Muskegon, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties, and the State of Michigan. The manuals will assist both clients and professionals in navigating the many resources available.

Think of Finding Your Way as a recipe book. The ingredients and steps needed to get help are outlined to assist you to get the answers you need. The manuals list federal, state, and county programs and services that are available, help break down applications process, list the basic guidelines for receiving help, and offers tips on finding resources for basic needs such as food, housing, healthcare, education, and much more.
