The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) is proud to announce the launch of the Kidney Disease Interactive Medicaid Dashboard, part of the Morris Hood III CKD Prevention Initiative. This state-of-the-art tool provides vital data on chronic kidney disease (CKD) screening, prevalence, and trends in Michigan, helping policymakers, healthcare providers, and community organizations identify where programs and services are most needed.

Features include:

  • Information on CKD screening, prevalence, and trends.
  • Insights into CKD risk factors- diabetes, hypertension, and social determinants of health.
  • Cost estimates that show the measure of the financial burden to Michigan’s Medicaid program of CKD and its risk factors.
  • Data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, Medicare, and Michigan Medicine.
