Health Benefits

Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Insurance
All regular full-time employees and their dependents are eligible for coverage on the first day of the month following one full month of employment. Medical coverage is offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Premiums for all plans are paid through both employer and employee contributions

Flexible Spending Accounts

All regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in two types of flexible spending accounts: Health Care Spending Accounts and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts. Both accounts allow employees to save tax dollars on anticipated expenses during the Plan Year.

Incidental Benefits

Life Insurance
All regular full-time employees are eligible for employer-paid life insurance at 2 times their annual salary.

Long Term Disability
All regular full-time employees are eligible for employer-paid Long Term Disability coverage on the first day of the month following 30-days of employment.

Time-Off Benefits

Vacation
Regular full-time employees accrue vacation monthly based on years of service and hours worked. Depending on exemption status, employees with 0-5 years of service accrue 10-15 days of vacation annually. Depending on exemption status, employees with 5 years of service or more accrue 15-20 days of vacation annually. Regular part-time employees earn vacation time on a prorated basis. Part-time employees who work a minimum of 1040 hours per fiscal year will accrue vacation on a prorated basis.

Sick Leave
Regular full-time employees receive 12 paid sick leave days per year.

Holidays
Regular full-time employees receive 7 paid holidays per year.

Floating Holidays
Regular full-time employees receive 6 floating days per calendar year.

Bereavement
Regular full-time employees receive 5 days of paid leave per calendar year in the event of the death of your, your partner/spouse’s, or your child’s: parent, parent-in-law, step-parent, guardian, child (including miscarriage, stillbirth, or pregnancy termination), step-child, grandchild, step-grandchild, sibling, sibling-in-law, step-sibling, spouse/partner, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, cousin, or grandparent.

Financial Security

403(B) Retirement Plan
403(B) plan is offered with a contribution of 6%. Employees may elect to contribute additional monies to their 403(B) through payroll deduction.

Professional Development Support
We support our employees’ growth and ongoing learning. Eligible full-time employees may qualify for a $500 annual professional development stipend, which can be used toward courses, certifications, or other skill-building opportunities.
