Worksite wellness is a critical component of a healthy and productive workplace. Prioritizing employee well-being not only fosters a positive and supportive work environment but also leads to significant benefits for both employers and employees.
At the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, our comprehensive programs and services are designed to support the creation of a culture of wellness that promotes healthy habits and reduces the risk of chronic conditions like kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension. By investing in worksite wellness, employers not only improve their bottom line but also demonstrate a commitment to the long-term well-being of their workforce.

What Participants Are Saying . . .
“What we learned had an impact on our total health and personal lifestyle which in turn definitely helps the overall performance of the person in every capacity. The result is better health which improves the whole life of the attendee, including overall work performance, improved mental health and a more overall positive outlook. Therefore, I think the course should definitely continue to be offered to employees.”

If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease. Participants walk on their own schedule at their own pace with a goal of building to 30 minutes for at least three days a week by the end of the program. The program has helped participants improve balance, build confidence in walking pace, and improves limitation.
