The “most fun black tie event in Metro Detroit” began 17 years ago as a one-time event to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the NKFM. Brought back by popular demand, this event hosts more than 500 movers and shakers each year to eat, drink, and be merry. This event features hundreds of unique auction items, including the popular Kids Auction Toy Room, a very animated live auction, and the chance to “buy” a piece of our kids programs. Guests also enjoy the rockin’ sounds of live music!

Health and Safety at MotorCity Casino Hotel

The health and safety of our guests and associates is top of mind for us. We’ve been working diligently toward our goal of making MotorCity Casino Hotel a safe and healthy place for everyone. We’ve taken a fresh look at areas and procedures across the property and we’ve put together a comprehensive plan aimed at achieving that goal. Here are just a few of the things we’re doing.

We’ve increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing, especially of frequently touched areas, following CDC and state guidelines, with the goal of ensuring the cleaning products we use meet or are above standards. We’ve also added numerous hand sanitizing stations throughout the property and have worked to make them easy to find.
Our goals include:

• Frequently touched areas cleaned and sanitized regularly
• Cleaning products meet or exceed CDC and state guidelines
• Easy-to-find hand sanitizing stations

Social Distancing
Helpful signage and social distancing markers have been placed in queuing and dining areas to remind customers and associates to seek to maintain social distancing, and we’re limiting face-to-face customer/associate interaction where feasible. These measures include:

• Occupancy limits observed
• Social distance signage and markers
• Traffic flow signage and markers
• Limited face-to-face interaction

Items for Personal Protection
Face masks must be worn by customers, associates, and other visitors, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS. This update is in response to the Nov 19 Face Mask Advisory issued by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. At this time, this policy will not apply for guests while they are attending banquets or events in Sound Board. We’ll keep you updated as things develop.

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is the most effective way to protect yourself, your family, and your community.
