April 25, 2024 — The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) has chosen Monique Lee to fill their newly created executive management position, Director of Employee Experience. Lee, who started earlier this month, will lead the growing nonprofit in human resources strategy and employee culture.
Her experience includes over 18 years of progressive human resources experience, including talent acquisition and management; employer branding; total rewards and employee relations. She has supported both corporate and mission-driven multi-site organizations of varying sizes ranging from 18 to over 4,000 employees. Most recently, Lee was the Director of Talent for the Center for Employment Opportunities in Detroit. While there, she oversaw the vision and strategy for talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, HR operations and compliance.
Lee possesses an executive MBA degree from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources and has a certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
She resides in Sterling Heights with her husband and their two daughters.
