February 14, 2022 – National Geographic magazine takes a look at how those most vulnerable to COVID-19 have managed over the past two years. Sarah Rice, the photographer for the story, is handling her own severe health issues that made her vulnerable to the coronavirus. The story includes snapshots of two people closely connected to the NKFM. Sheila Jackson is a graphic designer for the foundation and Erich Ditschman is a kidney disease advocate.
