KICK provides teachers with everything they need to teach a lesson on the function of the kidneys, treatment modalities for kidney disease, and the importance of good nutrition and physical activity to continued kidney health. Teachers are recruited for inclusion in the program with emails and personal calls. They are contacted at school, the program is explained, and nearly 100% of teachers we speak to agree to present the KICK materials.
