Identification Tags

Identification tags provide medical information on either a necklace or bracelet at a nominal cost to the individual. The tags are engraved and sent to the person within four weeks of ordering. For more information on purchasing an ID Tag you can print the ID Tag application form or contact Bob Meyer at bmeyer@nkfm.org or 800-482-1455.

Internship Program

The NKFM internship program provides short-term internships in the Ann Arbor state office for people with kidney failure. The program can provide the opportunity for individuals to "test the waters" in deciding about a possible return to work. For more information, contact Julia Herzog at jherzog@nkfm.org or 800-482-1455.

Information and Referral

People with kidney disease and their family members who contact NKFM are either referred to the appropriate source to help meet their needs or NKFM provides the information. The NKFM takes thousands of calls a year from people newly diagnosed with kidney disease, those at risk, or family members. For more information, contact Bob Meyer at bmeyer@nkfm.org or 800-482-1455.

Luann Scheppelmann-Eib Emergency Fund

For more information, contact your social worker and have them fill out the Emergency Fund application or contact Bob Meyer at bmeyer@nkfm.org or 800-482-1455.
