The Kidney Ball: Motown Magic

The “most fun black tie event in Metro Detroit” began 8 years ago as a one time event to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the NKFM. Brought back by popular demand, this event hosts more than 700 movers and shakers each year to eat, drink, and be merry. This festive pre-holiday event features hundreds of unique auction items, including the popular Meijer Kid’s Land, a very animated live auction, and the chance to “buy” a piece of our kids programs. Guests also enjoy the “Candy Bar” courtesy of Mars Snackfood, and dancing until the music stops, thanks to the talented Jerry Ross Band.

Auction
Each year, the Kidney Ball has more than 250 eclectic and unique silent auction items and packages. The energetic live auction is a "must-see" part of the evening. Last year's live auction included an at-home feast prepared by an Executive Chef for you and seven friends, a state of the art home theatre package and a week in the Cayman Islands. As live auction items are confirmed, we'll list them here.
